  1. The scale of the chart is limited to 21,000,000 coins to allow the lowest quantity issues to be displayed, while accurately charting most other issues. The Peace Dollar production in Philadelphia exceeded the chart limit in 1922 and 1923:
    • 1922 = 51,737,000
    • 1923 = 30,800,000
  2. There were no dollars minted in the years of 1929 through 1933.
