It has been reported in a couple of social media posts (as of May 4, 2020) that Tim passed away due to complications from covid-19, but I have not yet found an obituary online.
- The Second Baptist Church of Media reported it on their website but it has since been removed. (Transcribed below.)

Here is what was reported on the website of Tim's church:
"I regret to inform the Media community of the passing of Mr. Raymond Timothy Trusty, ("Timmy"), from the Corona virus. Mr. Trusty was a 3 sport varsity athlete-football, basketball, track, at Media High School. He is a member of the Class of '64. Mr. Trusty also served with honor in the US military. He will be sorely missed. RIP."
If my internet sleuthing is correct, Tim had a son born in 1987 named Jeremiah T. Trusty, and in the weirdest of coincidences, Jeremiah died on March 31, 2021, about a year after his father, also succumbing to covid-19. Jeremiah's obituary can be read here.
