William Bell Gibson, Jr.

1964
After graduation I went to Millersville State, earned a degree in Secondary Ed, and taught in the local area until 1972 when I got a job with the Department of Defense Dependent Schools in Germany. I spent the next 30 years teaching Middle School math and science in Mannheim and Heidelberg, Germany. I met my wife Ruth who was also teaching math at Mannheim and we were married in 1975.

After retiring in 2004, we moved back to the US and have been living in Western North Carolina ever since. We are living in a small mountain town near Asheville.

While living in Europe we developed an interest in traveling, seeing the world, and cruising which we do whenever we can.

I belong to a local woodworking group. Our main project is handmade wooden toys that we give to the many children's home and charities at Christmas. My wife is a volunteer at the local hospital and teaches duplicate bridge at the local bridge center.
