Chrysler Show Cars
There was a time when prototype cars from Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors were big deals, and they were made specifically for car shows in order to showcase extreme design creations, new technology, and to "wow" the audiences who viewed them. Although show cars date back to the earliest times of car design and production, they seemed to reach their zenith during the 1950s and early '60s.
On these pages are two examples of those design excesses from Chrysler Corporation.
